“The standard of Junior Golf in Chester has never been better” commented Junior Golf Coach Roger Shutt after another series of his “TommyT” Golf Tour specifically for boys and girls aged from 3 to 11 years old!
Competing in the recent event at Pryors Hayes Golf Club Lauren Green, age 11, from Grange Park scored a gross 3-over par 37 in 9-hole competition winning by a big margin, Rory McIlroy style!
Roger has been 37 years coaching experience and has particularly focused on coaching children aged from 3-12 with his golf schools and tournaments.
“Coaching young children has to be fun with lots of variety to maintain their attention utilising visualisation as a key tool to help them concentrate better and achieve better results. This unique coaching style sets Roger apart from other junior coaches!” commented the parent of a 5 year old pupil from the Academy.
